Homeschoolers

Explore History Where It Happened

We know that not all classrooms have four walls. The Tower Heritage Center invites homeschoolers once a month to engage in Washington County’s early history through hands-on activities. With artifacts, stories, and immersive sites – we bring history to life, where it happened.

Every fall and spring, The Tower Heritage Center offers once-a-month homeschool programs for ages 8-14. This year has been a huge leap for homeschool programs, as we adopted a unit study approach and expanded the age range.

With a unit study approach, the classes build on each other, offering a more meaningful experience. Past unit studies include Washington County’s Early Industries and Intro to Civics.
