Built Local: Washington County’s Stylistic Origins (Homeschool)
February 11, 2025 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
We know that not all classrooms have four walls. The Tower Heritage Center invites homeschoolers once a month to engage in Washington County’s early history through hands-on activities. With artifacts, stories, and immersive sites – we bring history to life, where it happened.
This Spring’s unit study is ‘The Wonders of Washington County’s Historic Buildings.’ Homeschoolers will be diving into the hidden marvels of old places – learning about architectural styles, building arts, and what preservation means.
$50 for the unit study (5 classes)
Geared for ages 8-14
Classes are held at the 1889 Courthouse, from 10 am – 12 pm
