This interactive exhibit spotlights extraordinary individuals – both past and present – who have shaped our community through their hard work, ingenuity and entrepreneurship. Those chosen for the Achievement Hall of Fame represent the principles and strengths of Washington County.
Do you know someone who should be in the Achievement Hall of Fame?
We encourage you to nominate them. We’re adding new inductees and their stories every year. There is an annual limit of eight inductees. The selection committee does not need to fill all eight slots if not enough qualified nominees are put forward. Not all nominees will be inducted into the Achievement Hall of Fame.
We may contact you for more information if your nominee is selected. Names submitted after June 1 will be placed in the following induction year.
The nominee must currently be or have been a Washington County, Wisconsin resident in the past. An independent selection committee will select all inductees based on set criteria. Nominees for inclusion into the Achievement Hall of Fame will have demonstrated one or more of the following to improve the communities of Washington County:
• Extraordinary Effort
• Hard Work
• Work Ethic
• Leadership
