Field Day: Preservation in the Real World (Homeschool)
April 8, 2025 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
We know that not all classrooms have four walls. The Tower Heritage Center invites homeschoolers once a month to engage in Washington County’s early history through hands-on activities. With artifacts, stories, and immersive sites – we bring history to life, where it happened.
This Spring’s unit study is ‘The Wonders of Washington County’s Historic Buildings.’ Homeschoolers will explore the hidden marvels of old places and learn about architectural styles, building arts, and preservation.
$50 for the unit study (5 classes)
Geared for ages 8-14
Classes are held at the 1889 Courthouse, from 10 am – 12 pm
