Architectural Heritage Series: Restoring an 1889 Courtroom

How was the courtroom restored? Join Steve Stuckey, former architectural conservator of George Washington’s Mount Vernon home and current executive director of the Tower Heritage Center, as he explores the background behind the restoration of the iconic courtroom in the 1889 Courthouse.
This exciting session will go into the nuts and bolts of the restoration of the courtroom, specifically, the process under which the project happened. The planning and execution was a major feat that required many hands, and this talk will bring to light the efforts to make it a reality. There will be amazing images and drawings related to the project, including navigating the story in the courtroom itself! So don’t miss out!
